Belleville’s Jackie Jarrell scored twice but was denied in a shootout as Team Canada lost to host Argentina 3-2 in the quarter finals at the Women’s In-Line World Hockey Championships in Buenes Aires.
The best Canada can do is finish in fifth place.
They play Mexico today. Canada beat the Mexican squad 5-2 in the round robin.
Jarrell leads Team Canada with six goals and nine points in five games.
