Hockey is a 60-minute game and the Belleville Senators used almost all of it to rally past the Laval Rocket 3-2 to open a three-game road trip.
Roarke Chartier scored the power play winner with eight seconds left in regulation as the B-Sens improve to 3-2-1 on the AHL season.
All three wins have come against Laval and all by one goal.
Egor Sokolov had a goal and two assists and Roby Jarventie scored for the Sens. All three goals were scored on the power play including two in the final 4:42 of the third period.
Kevin Mandolese stopped 31 shots.
The B-Sens head to the U.S. midwest where they play in Milwaukee tomorrow (Friday) night and Rockford Illinois on Saturday.
