For the 12th time in her international career, Belleville’s Jackie Jarrell has been named to Team Canada’s roster for the upcoming Skate In-Line World Hockey championships.
This time Jarrell is off to Buenos Aires Agentina.
The 37-year-old Jarrell, who is the owner of the Gold Performance Training Centre on Blessington Road, has two gold, six silver and two bronze medals from previous world championships.
She was the Most Valuable Player in the 2012 event which has taken her to France, the Czech Republic, Italy, Germany, Columbia and elsewhere.
Jarrell was named one of the captains for Team Canada as they open the championship Monday against Italy.
Other countries in Canada’s pool include the U.S., Mexico and
Brazil.
