The Belleville Senators open their 6th season in the American Hockey League tonight (Fri) in the front end of a home at home series with the rival Laval Rocket.
The B-Sens hit the ice with 18 returning players from last season’s playoff team.
Belleville scored 219 goals to rank 17th in the AHL last year. Coach Troy Mann says they hope that some of their young players can help their offence improve.
Angus Cruikshank missed all of last season with a lower body injury.
