A Quinte West man is in custody after a break-in on Dufferin Avenue in Quinte West where $25,000 worth of tools were stolen.
On September 8, police were called to an automotive business after reports of a break-in and the theft was discovered.
After an investigation, a warrant was a placed for the suspect’s arrest, and police attended an address at York Crescent on Thursday where the suspect was arrested.
Fifty-one-year-old Paul Helm of Quinte West is charged with breaking and entering and theft over $5000.
The accused is being held, with a bail hearing scheduled for Friday.
