Belleville Transit ridership was at an all-time high in September.
The city reports there were 153,738 trips last month.
Route 9 ridership continues to grow.
The route, which services the urban area of Thurlow Ward, saw 5,105 rides taken in September, the highest since the pilot project was introduced last year.
Year-to-date, there have been 754,909 trips taken on Belleville Transit, already well above the almost 577,000 rides taken during 2021 when COVID restrictions were still in place.
The highest ridership was in 2019 when trips topped 1.2 million.
