Several road closures are set to take place as the 19th annual County Marathon returns on Sunday.
The road closures are being managed by a specialized road race company and OPP.
There will be rolling closures meaning that the roads will reopen as the race progresses.
Major intersections will be managed to keep traffic moving and allow vehicles to move through at regular intervals.
The following roads will be closed on Sunday.
- County Road 33 (Wellington to Bloomfield) – 8 a.m. – 10 a.m.
- County Road 12 (Bloomfield to Sandbanks) – 8:45 a.m. – 11 a.m.
- County Road 11 (Sandbanks to Picton) – 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.
- Picton Main Street (Lake Street to Washburn Street – 9:30 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
