Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting more than 200 active cases of COVID-19 along with two more deaths.
Hospitalizations have also doubled.
In its weekly update on Tuesday, Public Health reports 196 new high-risk cases were diagnosed over the last week bringing the active total to 213.
There have now been 67 deaths caused by COVID-19 across the two counties.
The Public Health dashboard also shows 23 people are being treated in hospital, up from nine last week though no one is in ICU.
There are a dozen active outbreaks in high-risk settings.
Almost 33,300 people have now received a fourth dose booster shot.
