Quinte West firefighters made quick work of a fire at Waste Management’s Transfer Station in Trenton early Friday.
A large pile of cardboard near a building at the Chester Road transfer station was reported up in flames at 5:30 in the morning.
The fire was under control in a few minutes and firefighters were on scene for less than an hour.
No one was injured.
