Leslie Roseblade is running for a third term on Quinte West Council.
The Ward 1 councillor says the last few years have been very challenging for everyone with the cost of living rising significantly and that, if elected, she will continue to challenge decisions regarding unnecessary spending of taxpayers’ money.
Roseblade calls her objective for Quinte West a community first approach which includes putting the needs of families first, securing the future of Trenton Memorial Hospital and supporting business growth to attract new industry to provide good paying jobs.
Roseblade says her 33 years of experience working for municipalities as a by-law enforcement officer, Community Development Program Manager and Parks and Facilities Manager has provided her with the first-hand knowledge and professionalism to keep Quinte West moving forward in a positive direction.
Over the last eight years as a councillor, she has served on many city committees and currently volunteers as a member of the Trenton Sports field Co-op Foundation and is a board member with the Humane Society Hastings Prince Edward.
