The Northern Tornadoes Project has released its survey results regarding the tornado that touched down in the Marmora, Madoc, and Tweed area on Sunday.
According to its survey results, NTP says tornado damage was assessed at EF2 with max wind speeds of 190 km/h.
The NTP says it’s estimated that tornado debris began at 8:11 p.m. and continued to 8:59 p.m.
Additional damage is being investigated further. NTP says some of the additional damage may be due to downbursts associated with the storm.
