A Napanee man was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Belleville General Hospital Tuesday night after driving a small car into a cement hydro pole.
Belleville police say the car was driving at a high rate of speed when the collision occurred just before 10 p.m. on Dundas Street East near Dairy Queen.
Bystanders had helped the 39-year-old man out of the car before emergency responders arrived.
The pole had to be replaced. An investigation continues.
