The Tweed Fire Department responded on Sunday to a structure fire at a house on Quin Mo Lac Road.
Centre Hastings fire was asked to provide tanker support.
Fire Chief Derrick Little says the fire was contained to the second floor of the house, but the building still suffered serious damage.
Two people were on scene, but nobody was injured.
The cause of the fire is unknown.
