Canada Day is a day of celebration, not shopping.
Grocery stores, banks, Quinte Mall, Walmart, and all government offices
will be closed.
All liquor stores will be closed, however, one Beer Store outlet on Bell Boulevard will be open.
Belleville Transit will not be running its regular routes but will be offering a free shuttle bus running between Quinte Mall, the downtown bus terminal and Zwick’s Park starting at 11 a.m. with the last shuttle leaving the mall at 9 p.m.
Some drug stores and variety stores will be open, along with some restaurants.
