A new sign will soon be spotted on Picton’s Main Street.
On Thursday, Prince Edward County’s Committee of the Whole approved the installation of a new Bulk Barn sign on the building of 97 Picton Main Street, formerly Sobey’s store.
The proposed sign’s size is 21.37 square metres, which exceeded the maximum permitted 14 square metres allowed on its facade under the County’s sign by-law, requiring the store to seek approval from council.
The proposed sign is the corporate standard used at other Bulk Barn locations.
The property is located within the Picton Heritage Conservation District and was issued a Heritage Conservation District Permit on June 1, 2022.
