The Quinte West Ontario Provincial Police have charged an individual following an alleged assault at a Trenton business.
On June 20 at approximately 8:30 a.m., police responded to a report of an assault that occurred at a drive-through window of a business on Monogram Place.
Police say an individual used the drive-though to order coffee, and following an interaction with an employee, the person allegedly threw a hot beverage into the drive-through window striking two employees, causing minor injuries.
Frank Hunter, 57 years old from Hamilton, has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon.
He was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice on July 21.
