It took about three days of round-the-clock work but there’s good news when it comes to power outages in the City of Belleville.
Saturday night, Elexicon Energy crews made their final repairs and all lights should be back on in the urban part of Belleville. After Thursday’s damaging storms, over 15,000 Elexicon Energy customers were without electricity.
Meanwhile, all power in rural Belleville, in Thurlow ward, has also been restored.
In other parts of our region, Hydro One continues to deal with fewer than 10 outages, all involving less than 20 customers each.
Those are expected to be fixed by noon Sunday.
