The City of Belleville has extended the deadline for public feedback on a new by-law to regulate vehicles for hire to June 15.
The city has been seeking feedback as it prepares to update its Taxi Licensing By-law which came into effect in 2010.
Since then there have been many changes to the local vehicle-for-hire industry, including the emergence of ride sharing companies like Uride.
Residents can review the by-law here and feedback can be provided by emailing ridesharing@belleville.ca.
The by-law will come to council for second and third reading during its June 27 meeting.
