Belleville police made a rooftop arrest in the downtown Friday morning.
At 9 a.m., police responded to a report of a male trying to break into businesses on Front Street.
Police located and arrested the suspect on the roof of a building in the area of Front and Bridge Streets.
While there was no entry made to any business, the male had an outstanding warrant for several charges in Quinte West.
The 41-year-old man was held for a bail hearing Friday.
