Canada Day celebrations are returning to many communities this year including Quinte West.
The municipality is holding in-person celebrations at Centennial Park, for the first time since 2019, on Friday, July 1.
Favourites like the vendor village, live music, and a fireworks show return, joined by new activities including medieval knight fighting shows, falconry demonstrations and a petting zoo.
Colleen Vickers, special events coordinator at the City of Quinte West, says this year’s line-up of activities and entertainment offers something for everyone to enjoy.
Couch Crescent will be closed to vehicular traffic on July 1, 2022.
