This year’s Fairways for Fractures Spring Classic got off to a soggy start but the 4th annual golf tournament to support the Belleville General Hospital Foundation finished on a high note.
Black Bear Ridge Golf Course hosted 172 golfers who raised a record $96,000 in support of the proposed Fracture Clinic Expansion at BGH.
As one of Quinte Health Care’s busiest service delivery programs, the clinic currently sees over 12,000 patients per year for conditions ranging from broken bones to hip replacements.
BGHF has pledged to raise $375,000 towards the project.
Last year’s event raised $55,000.
