Another popular fundraising event makes its in-person return this weekend.
Organizers for the Bay of Quinte Relay for Life say they are excited to bring the event back live and in-person this year after two years of virtual events due to the pandemic.
The relay, which raises money for cancer research and support services, will be held Saturday at Loyalist College from 2 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Also, making a return as part of the event, is the touching Luminary Ceremony which lights up the track to remember and honour those fighting and lost to cancer.
The 2021 event raised just under $16,000 with teams participating on their own.
