A 12-year-old is facing multiple charges including arson following a fire at a vacant residence in Trenton Monday afternoon.
The fire, which caused $10,000 damage was deemed suspicious.
Through security camera footage, Quinte West OPP identified two young people leaving the residence around the time of the fire.
As a result, a 12-year-old female from Quinte West was arrested on charges of arson, two counts of break and enter and mischief over $5000.
The accused, whose name cannot be released under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, was released and will appear in court at a later date.
