It was another successful McHappy Day.
During the annual fundraiser Wednesday, local McDonald’s restaurants pulled in more than $20,000 with proceeds going to The Children’s Foundation and their Camps of Hope program.
That money will allow about 75 kids to go to camp.
Children’s Foundation Executive Director Kim Henry says they are overwhelmed by the community’s generosity and that without it, they wouldn’t be able to make such a positive impact on so many children’s lives.
