Ontario’s election campaign officially kicks off today, now that the lieutenant-governor accepted Premier Doug Ford’s recommendation to dissolve provincial parliament.
Voting day is set for June 2.
Meanwhile election prediction website 338Canada.com says that at least at this point the Bay of Quinte and Hastings-Lennox and Addington ridings will remain with the Progressive Conservatives while Northumberland-Peterborough South riding is considered a toss-up between the PCs and the Liberal Party.
