It has been a two year hiatus for most local summer sports leagues due to COVID but they’re anxious to regroup and get going again.
That certainly applies to the Belleville Women’s Fastball League – a league that has been in existence for more than half a century. Spokesperson Shannon Williams says their biggest challenge is letting women know they’re back.
The Belleville Women’s Fastball League will go with four teams this season. EMS Tech, P38 Energy, Export Grill and Richard Wright Law.
The league is open to all women 15 years of age and up.
