It has been almost four years since the Empire Theatre’s – Empire Rockfest last took over Empire Square in downtown Belleville.
2019 was a year where the acts did not line up with the schedule, while 2020 and 2021 saw the COVID-19 pandemic keep the parking lot silent.

On Wednesday at Belleville’s Empire Theatre, owner Mark Rashotte announced the return of the three day festival July 14, 15, and 16.
He ran down this year’s artists with Quinte News.
“TLC, 112 and Jenny Berggren (lead singer) of Ace of Base. Friday night we’re going to rock. We have Hugh Dillon and The Headstones as well as Tea Party. Saturday night, we’re bringing them back – The Glorious Sons and also The Blue Stones.”
Also performing is Crown Lands on Friday night and the Jake Clemmons Band Saturday.
Tickets will go on sale on Saturday April 23 at The Empire Theatre website.
