There’s good news for Northumberland County residents who commute to the Greater Toronto Area for work and play.
Tuesday Northumberland-Peterborough South MPP David Piccini announced that the province, through Metrolinx, has partnered with the county to begin a pilot project involving an on-demand shuttle service connecting Northumberland residents with the GO network in Oshawa.
The shuttle service will serve Trent Hills and Brighton and several other communities in Northumberland and is expected to begin this summer.
