It’s a very special day for one of Quinte Broadcasting’s own.
Mayor of Belleville Mitch Panciuk has declared today (Wednesday) Jack Miller Day in the city.
Jack has been a sports and news broadcaster for well over 40 years with Quinte Broadcasting and was the voice of the OHL’s Belleville Bulls starting in 1981 and now broadcasts for the American Hockey League’s Belleville Senators.
He has done radio play-by-play for the Ottawa Senators in the past and has served as a colour commentator for many world junior hockey tournaments on national radio.
He served three terms on Belleville city council.
Jack Miller will be honored at a special dedication ceremony later today at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre before tonight’s Senators-Toronto Marlies game.
