The Trenton Golden Hawks have won back-to-back Hasty Ps Cups.
Devin Mauro scored the winner at 1:06 of overtime to lead the G-Hawks past the Wellington Dukes 3-2.
Mauro describes the game winner.
“Coach called my name and I knew it was do or die and I was skating in the zone and we had guys coming in but I just looked them off and I saw the hole underneath the goalie’s arm and I just shot it !”
Trenton wins the 8-game series 5-3, but still trail the Dukes in the East Division standings by one point.
The G-Hawks have a game in hand.

The Dukes host Haliburton Sunday afternoon at 2:30, while Trenton welcomes Lindsay Sunday at 7:30 pm.
