More than a dozen downtown Belleville restaurants took part in the annual Savour the Chill Soup Contest.
It was cancelled in 2021 due to the pandemic, but made a return Saturday.
There were two categories, Judge’s Pick and People’s Choice.
Chilangos Mexican Restaurant took both categories with their chicken soup, which is called caldo tlalpeño.
