It appears there was quite the bidding war for an old bridge in Tyendinaga Township.
The chance to buy the old Boldrick’s Bridge, from Shannon Road, or the Old 7th Concession, closed on Monday at 2:00 p.m.
Tyendinaga Township Clerk Carla Preston says 65 bids and 4,000 views to the auction page took place.
Although she could not announce the winner of the bid yet, she tells us it is someone from Ontario and she believes it may be used for agriculture.
It can be taken apart on site, or taken from the Blessington Yard as is.
The winning bid was for $31,500.
