A 37-year-old from Bancroft is facing criminal charges after a domestic incident in the town on Monday.
Bancroft OPP responded to a report of a domestic incident and found an adult had been assaulted and threatened by another person with a weapon.
One person sustained minor injuries.
The accused was released from custody and will appear in Bancroft court on March 15.
In a separate incident, Bancroft OPP have charged one man with numerous offences after an assault in Bancroft on Sunday afternoon.
Police report they were called after an assault and their investigation revealed one person had been assaulted and property had been damaged.
Elwood Ostroskie was arrested at the scene and charged with assault, mischief, forcible entry, causing a disturbance and failure to comply with probation.
The 40-year-old was held in custody and will appear in Belleville court on Thursday.
