Firefighters were still on the scene of two fires in the region early Monday evening.
Belleville fire crews were called out to a structure fire on Highview Crescent in the city’s north end around 3:15.
Flames were reported to be seen through the roof of the house.
There are no reported injuries.
In Prince Edward County, crews from fire halls 5, 7 and 9 were called to a house fire on Christian Road near the intersection at County Road 2 a little before four o’clock.
The flames were contained to one corner of the house.
Firefighters were still on scene dousing hot spots.
