Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is reporting 111 new high risk COVID-19 cases locally Friday.
The health unit is also reporting three new deaths which brings the region to 31 total since the pandemic began.
Thirty-three people are in hospital with six in the ICU.
With Friday’s new cases there are 705 active high risk cases in the two counties which is down significantly from Wednesday’s report of 848.
There are 21 active outbreaks in high risk settings including two new ones since the last report.
To date, 88% of HPE residents aged five and older have received a first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, 80% have received two doses and 48% have had their booster shot.
