Belleville police responded to 65 calls for service between 5 a.m. on January 13, 2022 and 5 a.m. on January 14, 2022.
Theft
On January 10, 2022, police attended an address on Latta Drive regarding a theft from a commercial vehicle. Unknown suspect(s) entered the vehicle and removed several Milwaukee and Dewalt tools. Police are asking anyone who may have information on the theft to call the Belleville Police Service or Crime Stoppers.
Assault
On January 13, 2022 at 3:35 p.m., police attended a condominium on South Front Street regarding unwanted persons. Two males were reportedly biking in the parking lot and were asked to leave by security. There was then an argument and the security guard was shoved by one of the males. Police located the males a short time later and arrested 19-year-old Tim Cross of Belleville. He was charged with one count of assault, and he will appear in court on February 10, 2022.
