Mother nature has made some slick roads for the second day of 2022.
A few centimetres dropped overnight (late Saturday/early Sunday) and that will continue for much of the day Sunday.
There is a weather advisory for the Quinte region and Northumberland County.
Five centimetres are being predicted and with some wind gusts, visibility could be an issue.
During your travels today, give yourself some extra time.

- Cobourg – Colborne – Western Northumberland County
Winter weather travel advisory in effect for today.
The snow will from west to east through the day today.
Total snowfall amounts of 5 to 10 cm are expected by the time the snow comes to an end.
Travel may be hazardous as untreated surfaces are expected to become snow covered and icy.
Motorists should expect hazardous winter driving conditions and adjust travel plans accordingly. Consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve.
