Mischief
On December 13, 2021 at approximately 6:30 p.m., Belleville police were called to a west end school in relation to a male breaking a window. Police arrived on scene and 29-year-old Justin Zealand of Durham was taken into custody. Zealand was charged with mischief under $5000 and later released.
Vehicle Fire
On December 14, 2021 at 3:58 a.m., police were called to an area around 51 Latta Drive for reports of a vehicle on fire. Belleville Police and Belleville Fire attended the scene and discovered the vehicle was fully engulfed in flames. The vehicle fire was extinguished by Belleville Fire. The vehicle was burned beyond recognition and the licence plates had been removed. There are no suspects at this time and anyone with information is asked to contact Belleville police at 613-966-0882.
