Hastings Prince Edward Public Health is advising of a COVID-19 exposure at Shoeless Joe’s restaurant in Belleville.
The health unit says anyone who was there on Saturday, November 20 and Sunday, November 21 is advised to seek testing for COVID-19 immediately, even if you do not have any visible symptoms.
In a press release officials from HPE Public Health say they’re currently investigating multiple people who tested positive who were at the restaurant on those dates.
As part of the investigation into these cases officials are asking that anyone seeking testing as a result of having been at Shoeless Joe’s on those dates provide the investigation number 2238-2021-51274 to the testing centre.
The press release also said to isolate alone and seek testing again if symptoms develop even if they’re mild.
The health unit is in the process of identifying and contacting all high risk contacts of these cases.
