The Ontario Football Conference has announced that Jacoby Dillon of the Quinte Skyhawks is this year’s recipient of the Bill Prest Community Service Award.
For the last four years while playing Varsity, High School and now Junior football, Jacoby has volunteered his time running and coaching the Skyhawks Adaptive Special Needs Football program.
Skyhawks president Peter Gabriel says Dillon’s commitment and passion to make sure everyone feels accepted and loved, no matter their disability is truly inspring.
Gabriel adds that Jacoby’s impact has beeen life-changing.
Dillon is a student at Eastside Secondary School. The defensive back was the first player signed by the Skyhawks who have just completed their first season in the Canadian Junior Football League.
