In an update covering the weekend, Hastings Prince Edward Public Health reports six new cases of COVID-19.
With six recoveries there are now 20 active infections in the two counties.
Five of the cases were in Belleville with the sixth being in central Hastings County.
Four of the infections were discovered in fully vaccinated people and two in those who were unvaccinated.
There are now two outbreaks with the one at VP Carswell school in Trenton being declared over Friday.
Eighty-three percent of Hastings-Prince Edward’s population 12 years of age and older have been fully vaccinated.
In Northumberland, the Haliburton Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported one new case on Monday.
There are three active cases.
