Quinte West council will take a first look at plans for capital project spending at a special meeting Monday night.
Staff is presenting a capital spending plan that totals almost $23 million.
Of that total, $7.1 million would be financed by long-term debt with the rest being paid for through taxes, senior government grants, and from reserve funds.
The major capital projects are the Wooler Road rail overpass at $5 million and a new and expanded boat launch in Centennial Park costing $2.8 million.
Council will also see plans for just over $7 million in water/sewer projects.
Final decisions on the capital budgets will come at a future date.
