There were four new cases of COVID-19 reported yesterday in Hastings and Prince Edward counties.
The HPE Public Health dashboard shows three of the new infections were located in Belleville, one in central Hastings.
All four new cases were discovered in people who were not vaccinated.
With three recoveries there are now 38 active cases in Hastings-Prince Edward and two people are being treated in hospital, neither of them in intensive care.
Eighty-two percent of the population of the two counties 12 years of age and older are now fully vaccinated.
The Kawartha Pine Ridge District Health Unit reported two new cases today in Northumberland.
Nine are active.
