One person has been charged after a church was broken into in Bancroft.
Late Monday afternoon, Ontario Provincial Police responded to a report of property damage and a break and enter to a church on Highway 62.
Police located and arrested a suspect on Highway 62.
Thirty-five-year-old Christopher Penrose of Bancroft is charged with break and enter, two counts of mischief and theft under $5,000.
The accused was released from custody and will appear in court November 16.
