Break and Enter
On September 21, 2021 at 5:20 a.m., Belleville police were called to the former site of Quinte Secondary School regarding a possible break and enter in progress. Officers arrived on scene and shortly after, a male was located exiting the building and was subsequently arrested. Thirty-six-year-old Justin McMahon of Belleville is charged with break and enter and was held in custody for a bail hearing.
Motor Vehicle Theft
On September 21, 2021 at 9:30 a.m., Belleville police attended the west end of the city regarding a stolen vehicle. The victim indicated she had her vehicle stolen after she left it running in the driveway of a residence. Twenty minutes later the vehicle was located a few blocks away. A female was located in the driver’s seat of the vehicle and arrested. The 26-year-old Windsor resident was charged with theft of a motor vehicle and failing to comply with a release order. She is being held for a bail hearing on September 22, 2021.
