Issues affecting local farmers will be front and centre during a meet-the-candidates event in Hastings-Lennox and Addington early next week.
The Lennox and Addington Federation of Agriculture is hosting the event on Monday, September 13, at the McCracken Family’s Bar-View Farms in Bath.
Conservative Shelby Kramp-Neuman, Liberal Mike Bossio and the Green Party’s Reg Wilson will take part in the discussion, offering local farmers a chance to meet them and hear their points of view on agricultural issues.
The event begins at 7:00 p.m. at 1587 Galt Street in Bath, with anyone attending asked to bring their own lawn chair.
