Officers stopped the car and say there were drugs in the vehicle in plain view, with more drugs and cash found during a further search.
Police say the drugs have a street value of about $2,000.
Twenty-eight-year-old Chelsey Collar and 33-year-old Paul Nixson are each charged with four counts of drug possession for the purpose of trafficking, while Nixson was also charged with possession of proceeds of crime and breaching a release order.
Both accused were released with conditions and court dates early next month.
