HPE Public Health is reporting three new cases of COVID-19 and six recoveries today, leaving an active case total of 34.
Two of the new cases were found in unvaccinated residents, with one case found in a person who is fully vaccinated.
The transmission cause of all three cases is pending, with one case each found in Belleville, Centre Hastings and Deseronto.
There are still three ongoing outbreaks, with no patients currently in hospital due to the virus.
Vaccination numbers haven’t changed from yesterday, with 83% of Hastings Prince Edward residents aged 12 and up having at least one shot and 74% fully vaccinated.
The Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge Health Unit has yet to update the stats for Northumberland County today, but as of yesterday, was reporting three active cases there.
