Most customers in the Foxboro area and beyond have had power restored, after an incident near the Foodland store on Highway 62 today.
Social media reports indicate a truck hit a hydro pole and brought the wires down, just before noon.
Hydro One had reported an outage in a widespread area, that at its peak, affected close to 2,000 customers.
The utilities company now says power has been partially restored, with those still impacted expected to have the lights back on by 6:00 p.m..

Belleville Police have closed Frankford Road, between Highway 62 and Ashley Street for a few hours.
While Highway 62 and Ashley Street both remain open, police are asking drivers to avoid the area for the time being.
