There was a barn fire north of Colborne overnight.
According to Today’s Northumberland the Township of Cramahe Fire Department was called out at 11:30 to a fire on Telephone Road west of Northumberland County Road 25.
The barn was fully engulfed in flames when crews arrived and firefighters from Brighton and Alnwick/Haldimand were called in for support.
It’s not known if livestock was involved.
The fire was under control before 3 o’clock Wednesday morning but some firefighters remained on scene overnight putting out hot spots.
An investigation continues.
